These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Getthrills Technology India Pvt. Ltd.'s Website, located at medifio.com.
By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Medifio if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
These Terms and Conditions apply to the entire content on the platform “Medifio” a unit of Getthrills Technology India Pvt. Ltd. which may be referred to hereon in as “we” or “us” or “our”, as applicable,
including without limitation, www.medifio.com or any application used to access the Medifio platform (“Website” or “mobile application” or pop-up window, tab of Medifio”). For the purpose of these terms and conditions, wherever the context so requires “you” or “your” or “user” shall mean any natural or legal person who has agreed to become a member of the Medifio platform by registering on the Medifio platform as registered user or a person who has used the Medifio platform either through the browser or mobile application.
Your access of use of the Medifio platform is subject to the terms and conditions as set out here (“Terms and Conditions”) and the Privacy Policy made available on the Medifio platform.
We provide the booking service and also ancillary services relating to customer service. We remain your point of contact for bookings, cancellations, refunds and the like.
We may modify our Terms at any time and our fees may also change from time to time. We may also terminate, suspend or change any aspect of our booking service at any time and for any reason.
Please do not make a booking through Us if you do not agree to our Terms. If you have questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Home Nursing Service
For Users:
- User(s) can search nurse for Home Nursing service based on their location in the Medifio App.
- Based on the location Search and the service selected, the available nurse profile will appear in the App.
- User can check the profile of the nurse, check their qualification, experiance etc.
- User(s) need to upload their details and PAN card/Aadhar card during the time of booking.
- To avail of the nursing service, the user(s) need to upload their doctor's prescription.
- The App will detect the user current location or user can select the his/her location,
which will be shared to the nurse as well as to the Medifio Team (Administratior)
- Final booking will be done only after the Payment done.
- After the booking done successfully, Medifio Tean will call to the user for a preliminary verification.
Things to be considered (User/ Customer):
- User/customer shall make all appointments, bookings or Payments, only through the Medifio App and on its bank account. Medifio does not have any other source of payment.
- User shall always book an appointment with the Nurse Practitioner through Medifio and all communications shall be made by Medifio. No personal communication shall be made either by the user or the Nurse Practitioner with each other.
- User shall have to provide meals to the Nurse Practitioner according to the appointment timings i.e. if booked for a day breakfast and lunch or evening shall include dinner, at own expense.
- User shall be well-mannered and shall maintain modesty, humbleness, kindness and courtesy toward the Nurse Practitioner.
- User/ Customer shall never bypass Medifio for booking appointments with their health worker/ caretaker/ attendant / domestic helper etc. All appointments and communications shall be made by Medifio between the User/ customer and the health worker/ caretaker/ attendant etc. No personal communication shall be made by each other.
- User/ Customer shall have only professional connection with the health workers / caretaker/ attendant etc. Personal relationships/ connections shall be avoided.
- User/ customer shall provide a detailed information along with PAN card/ ADHAAR card during the time of booking.
- Final booking shall be done only after payment is done.
- After booking done successfully, Medifio team shall call the User/ customer for a Preliminary verification. Medifio conducts a Preliminary physical verification for Patient care or on special conditions of the User/ customer ( in order to provide better assistance) with a minimum charge of two hundred rupees only , a non refundable one- time amount to be paid by the User/ customer depending upon the prescribed distance & location.
- User/ customer shall be well mannered and shall maintain modesty, humbleness, kindness and courtesy towards the health worker/ caretaker/ attendant.
- User/ customer shall have to provide meals to the health worker/ caretaker/ attendant , according to the appointment timings, i.e. if booked for a day, breakfast and lunch, or evening shall include dinner at own expense.
- Medifio shall initially offer two complimentary replacement of health worker/ caretaker / attendant / domestic helper for the User/ customer. After that the User/ customer shall be charged of a payment of Rs. 1500 ( fifteen hundred rupees only) for each replacement made by the User/customer.
- User/ customer shall understand that the health worker/ caretaker/ attendant are obliged to do the tasks only which covers the appointment.
- Medifio services shall normally be provided at the User/ customer’s house. In order to provide the services efficiently, User/ customer need to ensure that the required medicine and other necessary things are available as per the doctor’s prescription before booking an appointment. The User/customer shall ensure the health and safety of the health worker/ caretaker/ attendant within the premises.
- At any time, during the service, if the health worker/ caretaker/ attendant considers that the User/ customer appear to be unwell or behaving unwell and not following the health worker/ caretaker/ attendant’s reasonable instructions ( such as not following instructions intended to protect the user/ customer, health worker/ caretaker/ attendant’s / domestic helper or other person’s safety) and you are behaving or acting unreasonably or are offensive in any way, than the health worker/ caretaker/ attendant may wish to stop the services and not continue it. Any kind of misconduct by User/ customer towards the health worker/ caretaker/ attendant shall lead to legal action.
- Medifio reserves the right to terminate the service at any time, if the User/ customer does not cooperate with the Medifio team or follow the terms & conditions while providing the services.
- Medifio shall not be responsible nor liable for any claims that User/ customer make for any services which is not booked or registered through Medifio.
- If the customer wants to take any action against a worker provided by the company, the customer must notify the company to resolve the issue amicably. If deemed necessary, the company can also provide the customer with compensations.
- Upon termination of the worker’s services at the customer’s house, the customer has the right to check the worker’s luggage. Any claims made by the customer regarding items post-departure of the worker from the customer’s house will be considered invalid.
- The customer agrees to pay a non-refundable travel allowance to the worker while in service to them. The minimum allowance is ₹ 250, which may vary depending on the location and distance of travel.
- In-case of patient care, there will be a partial refund if the patient is dead.
- If the customer needs to cancel a pre-booked service, the customer must do so before the start date of service. Cancellations made on or after the start date of service will result in the loss of any refundable advance payment made by the customer.
- If a worker’s health deteriorates while in service, the customer must notify the company immediately. The customer must provide the initial medical care until the team arrives. Any cost incurred for the worker’s initial medical care will be reimbursed by the company upon presenting appropriate proof of expense.
- Regarding leave, caretaker can take leave of any two days in the month with a mutual understanding with the customer.
- Caretaker are need to do only the assigned work for which he/she has been booked. Sometimes they can help the custome by doing some extra work basis on mutual understanding but not in a regular basis.
- For long-term service, a non-refundable of Rs 150(Amount may vary based on the location) need to pay directly to our NP as a travelling charge if the customer
wants to physically verify our caretaker before final booking.
- Medifio reserve the rights to terminate the service at any point of time, if the users/customers doesn't corporate with the Merdifio team and doesn't follow the terms and conditions of Medifio after providing the services.
Where the Services are Provided
Normally the Services will be provided at your home. In order to provide the Services effectively, you will need to ensure that the required medicine and other necessary things are available as per the doctor's prescription before booking the service. You must also ensure the health and safety of our Nursing Practitioner(NP) within your premises.
Length of a Session
Short-Term Services are provided in sessions normally given in 60-minute slots ('Session(s)'). The actual period of the performance of Services during a Session will normally be approximately 10 - 15 minutes less. A few minutes at the beginning of each service is required to set up, check the medicine, and doctor's prescription, and ask you any questions about your condition, any issues or problems etc.
At any time during the service, the Nursing Practitioners(NPs) consider that: you appear to be unwell or becoming unwell and not following the NPs reasonable instructions (such as not following instructions intended to protect your, the NPs or another person's safety) and you are behaving or acting unreasonably or are offensive, then the NP may wish to stop the service and not continue it. Any kind of misconduct will lead to legal action
Medifio shall not be responsible nor liable for any claim that you make for any nursing service which is not booked or registered through Medifio App.
Costs of Sessions and payment
Cost:
The average cost of the service is completely dependent on your requirements and location. It can vary anywhere between ₹4,000 to ₹25,000/per month.
Session overruns (Short-Term Service)
For the short-term service, the slot time and cost is pre-defined. If at your request and with the NPs agreement, a Session runs longer than a Session period then you will be charged for each [15] minutes that the NP provides you with the Services at the pro-rata rate you are paying for a Session.
Increase in Session costs (Short-Term Service):
If you book a block of Sessions then the fee will remain the same for that block of Sessions if We increase the rate of fees. If you book Sessions one at a time, you will be entering a separate contract at each booking. In this case, the fee for each Session will be in force at the time of the booking.
Payment:
Medifio accepts payment online and through bank transfers.
Booking fees i.e. convenience fees, inclusive of tax need to be paid by the user to confirm the booking. Nursing fees displayed in the User App need to pay directly to the nurse by cash, online and bank transfer. After each session, the fee for the session will be invoiced to you by Us. If you have booked a block of Sessions then you will be invoiced for the total fee for the block of Sessions after the first Session in the block.
Travel Time:
To provide the Services at your home Medifio does not normally charge for travelling to or from a Session.
If NP are late for a Session or you cancel
If you are late:
If NPs are late arriving at a Session, the Session will start when you arrive. The Session will continue until its scheduled end and you will be charged the full fee for the Session. If you wish the Session to overrun, and the NP agrees, then you will be charged for the extra time the NPs spend in providing the Services.
If in the NPs reasonable opinion they consider that providing the Services will serve no practical value or will be unsafe for you in the time available remaining of the Session then the NP may cancel the Session. You will still be expected to pay the full fee for the Session, however.
Cancellation:
Service once booked cannot be cancelled. In order to cancel the service, the user(s) need to call +91 9707512523 within 15min from the time of booking and the convenience fee which will be charged during the time of booking will be non-refundable.
If the Nursing Practitioner(NP) cancels:
On occasion, the NP may have to cancel a scheduled Session. This may occur for a number of reasons, such as the Nursing Practitioner(NP) is unwell, the NP cannot reach the location where a scheduled Session is to take place because of travel problems (traffic jams, etc). If a cancellation occurs in this situation then you will be offered another scheduled Session without further charge to you or a refund of the convenience fee which will be charged during the time of booking for that scheduled Session.
Return Policy
We do not offer a return policy on our services once purchased.
In case of failed transactions, the liability to return the debited amount lies with the users’ bank account,
which usually takes 7 – 10 business days. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@medifio.com
Official Address: Bordoloi Nagar, Tinsukia. Near St. Stephen's High School, 786125, Assam India. You will be responsible for failed transactions and the liability solely lies with your Credit/Debit Card company, UPI, or Bank Account.
Nurse Safety
We care about our employees and nurses. List of safety measures for the nurses.
- User needs to upload their identity proof, adharcard, upload their details.
- Need to give alternate mobile numbers of their family member during booking.
- Preliminary verification of the users will be done by the
Medifio Team by a phone call, once booking is done successfully.
- Automatically detect the GPS location of the user during the time of booking and will be shared to
the nurse as well as to the Medifio Team (Administrator). User location will be monitored by our system administrator.
- The nurse once reached the user location needs to share the working environment by video call to our system administrator.
- Safety button in the nurse app for emergency which includes AI and Speech recognition technology for the NPs safety
- Medifio system engineer keep monitoring the active locations of the NP.
- Follow up to NP by Medifio Team on regular basis during the service period.
- The nurse needs to close the session once the job is completed.
